The Materials:

Poster Board (cut in half if desired)

Two Empty – Large Soda Bottles

Acrylic Paints

Paper Plates for Paint (one for each color)

Paint Brushes

The Process

Create a base such as the stems on the flowers with the paint and paint brushes.

Next, pour a large puddle of paint into the paper plate. Dip the base of the soda bottle into the paint and have fun stamping!  Be sure to use lots of paint and dip the bottle back in the paint after every two stamps for best results.

Extensions:

Try using smaller paper and a small size soda bottle. Think of other designs that would look great with this stamping process, such as stamping snow at night (white paint on a black base), or a flower garden, and adding foam stickers such as butterflies or insects.
